DJS Sims

Is there any way you could come up with a program that will uncompress files? I compressed my downloads folder and have run into a lot of problems.

For one, my game load time has increased dramatically. It was tolerable before, but now I just leave the computer for a good 20-30 minutes. I know you said for some people their load time increased, but I think it's doubled. >_< Or it seems like it.

My game just crashes now whenever I try to load into a lot with sims I made that are using custom content.

When I try to create a new sim, NONE of my custom clothes or hair or makeup or anything will show up except for default replacements. My game almost tries to act like all that stuff is still there, or something like that. When I first brought the CAS up, it had a male sim, and I switched it to a female sim. I have the most custom content for female sims, just FYI. My game froze for a good solid minute, with the music skipping. Not even the cursor would move, which has pretty much never happened for me in this game. Default replacements are working, but that's it.

I went into build mode on an empty lot, and it seems as if all/most of my custom objects and such are there. However, I tried to open the category for cars and my game had another freezing episode, like what happened in the CAS, though for not as long of a time. I just recently downloaded a bunch of new cars before compressing.

I was tired when trying to use your program, and forgot to backup my downloads folder beforehand. I have a very OLD backup of the files from when I did a reinstall of my computer and saved my downloads folder, but I have gotten many GB's worth of new stuff that isn't backed up.

You may just try to wash your hands of the issue because of the fact I didn't back up my files, and say it's my fault for not doing so. I would hope you won't, because I've heard nothing but good things about this program, and about you in general.

It would be nice if there was a program to uncompress the files, as well. Or, maybe you can tell me what's wrong with my custom content for sim's looks? Hair, clothes, makeup, accessories, everything, it's all missing. And my insane load time.

Just as a note, yes, I did delete groups.cache. Anything else I should have done?

Question, what algorithm does this program use

I just downloaded this yesterday and I love it. My game loads faster. Before using this, my neighborhood used to drift so slow but now it's much faster. I wish I had found this sooner, I could have saved all the downloads I deleted last week.
